It’s possible but very difficult. The material used to make most sunglasses are dense. Though very light, they’re not very bouyant. The best option for you in that situation is to use croakies which should minimize the chance of that happening.

Yes, tried and tested at point blank. I wear them to airsoft myself. If these lenses can take hot metal from an IED they can take a plastic BB.

it would be cool to see oakley somehow make their sunglasses float. like say if you were fishing with some freinds, and your friend (cough cough steve cough cough) accidently hit you in the head with a pole and they got knocked off and fell into 80 ft deep water, you could just reach right in and snag them. hahaha

Just wondering if …
Just wondering if they actually hold up better to adverse conditions better than the civilian line available. Thinking about getting a friend to get me a pair or two but was wondering if it is worth the effort. I am a tournament fisherman and I love Oakley products but I have been known to abuse them more than most throughout my day on the water.

same complaint from …
same complaint from different people should be a ‘Red Flag’ for eyespy0099.
Depending on the model, OAKLEY’s can hit the pocket, but on the plus side paying for quality eye wear and not just a brand name.
Over the years I’ve owned different models & have put all of them through ‘Hell.’
Besides the price sometimes for the model I want, no complaints!!!!

I work at an Oakley …
I work at an Oakley store and resent the comment you made. I am former military and have used Oakley products in many conditions. We train many vendors in your local shopping centers on proper selling techniques of Oakley products to make sure the buying experience is the same across the board. Just because you had a less than favorable experience with one associate at one location does not mean you should generalize. I hope that is not the approach you take with every review you do.

Man did you hit it on the head about the people that work at the Oakley stores. They get them out of the same batch of idiots that work at Ambercrombie & Fitch.
