Hi, I am limited to wearing glasses because of a moderate ocular condition which I suffer from. I suffer from body image issues as well and have always disliked my appearance in glasses. Could anyone recommend an attractive eyewear brand? I have an oval face, blue eyes, pale skin, and brunette hair. I can’t seem to find a lens shape and frame color that I feel fits my face and skin coloring well.

Well the best thing to do is just to try a bunch of different styles on. However, I would suggest looking for more of the trendy and thick styles of frames. Thin frames begin to blend in to your face and become part of your appearance, whereas thick and seemingly nerdy frames just make you look like a beautiful woman who happens to have glasses on. Of course, designers like Versace, Gucci, and D&G make the bulk of these thick and trendy frames, which some people find to be a bit expensive. But it is possible to find thicker frames at a cheaper price.

Brown frames tend to look better on those with brown hair, as opposed to black frames. Of course, you could always go for something crazier like purple.

Several distinctions can be finded between dress eyewear (eyewear worn for everyday purposes) and safety glasses (eyeglasses worn specifically for eye protection).No matter how sturdy a pair of eyeglasses appear, they must meet specific criteria to qualify as safety glasses unless.

About Frame Durability
Safety frames must pass series of stress tests which are not required for dress eyewear. Once these tests are passes by a frame,it can be marked as a safety frame.
About Frame Markings
All safety frames have a "Z87" mark on the temples and on the front of the frame, indicating compliance with the ANSI Z87.1 safety eyewear standard. So without the "Z87" markings,a frame will not be recognized as a safety frame.
