yesterday i heard some ppl talking at Bal Harbour Shops and they were saying that Straight men dont know Dsigners.. and Gay men do… and i know every freaking designer in the world… i have spent more than $20,000 in just clothes, not including shoes and watches and other stuff like belts, eyewear..etc.. plus my aunt is Carolina Herrera…thats why i know so many designers… and i was thinking about it and sometimes i do feel attracted to other men-…

I apologize for asking something that’s so over-asked here in the C&A, but I’d really like ideas. I’ve asked this question twice and it withered into expiration because it never showed up on the question list or in Y!A search. If it finally appears this time, I’ll add details. (It’ll be kind of long… I’m terrible at keeping things concise, so please bear with me.)

Okay, so, I need glasses. I refuse to wear contact lens, and I’d rather not just take my glasses off for pictures, because I like to get fully immersed in the character.
My previous cosplay was Yuki Nagato from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (so even part-time meganekko are fine with me), and it was great. She just happens to be my favorite character of all time, and I’d never cosplay a character I knew nothing about… But I WOUL D start watching a new anime just to give a potential cosplay idea a chance. So please throw out some names if you can, including series name with them!
PREFERRED (but not required):
~ “normal” hair colors/style (that don’t require impossible dye jobs or expensive wigs)
~ from shorter series ( < 50 episodes / 2 seasons)
~ around teen age
~ I’m female, but I’m open to male or female character. I’m flat anyway, so yeah… please no girls that are specifically famous for being well-endowed!
Since the glasses character selection is limited, I’d also thought about expanding my search to costumes with some sort of eyewear so that wearing glasses underneath wouldn’t matter. For instance, the eyeshields from Angelic Layer.
There are also, I know, tons of characters with goggles… Unfortunately, most of them always keep them on their head! Example: Simon from Gurren Lagann. Also, I really love Kino’s Journey, and am highly considering that, but unfortunately, Kino also rarely takes those motorcycle goggles off the hat… So, anyone who actually WEARS their goggles on their face?

I know the shop tells you you have to but that is to save their butts if anything happens. But I dont want raccoon eyes so I would rather not wear them every time.
I tan in a high pressure bed, there are uv a rays but no uv b rays, it is impossible to burn in this bed. So it is differnet than a normal tanning bed.
Yes. You definitely need to wear them EVERY time!
I go indoor tanning alot and have done my research because I also did not want to wear the glasses every time. But unfortunately it’s something you should do. Closing your eyes or even putting a towel over your eyes is not enough. UV light can pass through all of these and damage your eyesight. You can see what it can do to your skin in only a matter of minutes, imagine what it can do to your eyes, which are extremely sensitive. I go tanning a lot and am quite dark and have never got racoon eyes. This is because your skin continues to tan until 3 hours after your tan is done.(This is why you’re not supposed to shower for 3 hours afterwards.) So even though you wear the eyewear, around your eyes becomes darker also, because the tan spreads.
This dude has NO fashion sense whatsoever! He seriously needs to update his eyewear! Round glasses went out of style years ago! Who agrees with me?

All i do know is that it is an alloy that was made from 5 superheated metallic compounds, making it fuse together. Anybody know more about it?
A marketing gimmick. If C-5 was really wonderful and valuable, you would have a huge paper trail of research, white papers, study groups, doctorate thesis about C-5. The mere fact that googling "C-5 alloy" only returns ads for Oakley demonstrate that it is a marketing gimmick. Trust me: an eyewear company does not have the capability of doing any material research and much less finding anything worthwhile. All they want is an excuse for charging exorbitant prices for a 1$ metallic rim.

i want to buy a pair for a cosplay event coming up soon, and hopefully i’ll be able to find some on ebay..but i’m not sure what they’re called..someone said they were wayferers, but they don’t look exactly the same.
