I need to ‘name’ eyewear user segments – i.e. those who wear contacts (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, permanent, color) as well as those who wear spectacles – based on groups we have pre-defined. We need to make these groups easily understood by using fun and descriptive group names, because segment descriptions as they stand are too technical. Anybody know where I can get some good research on work that may already be done? Good search topics? Other lifestyle products that can provide me with inspiration?
Thanks for that article Platinum. Does anybody know where I can find more recent segmentation information, covering a range of customer segments? I’ve got our technical segmentation information but now need to creatively ‘name’ them.

Which brand eyewear frames are best for under $150?

I bought eyeglass frames more than 5 years ago in this little rural GA town; I now live in Central FL and cannot find any glasses for wide bridge noses. The frame I have is from Nine West and it is semi-rimless. Rimless on top. Everyone comments on how good they look, but cannot help me replicate this style. I do not have to have this particular style, just one for wide nose bridges. Any suggestions?
